11 terrorists killed in two separate operations in Balochistan: state media
Eleven terrorists were killed in separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on Wednesday, in Turbat and Mastung, while one security personnel was injured in an exchange of fire, state-run Radio Pakistan said, citing security sources.
Nine terrorists belonging to the Fitna al-Khawarij were killed in an operation by security forces in the Kanak Valley area of Balochistan’s Mastung, while one security personnel member was injured during the exchange of fire, Radio Pakistan said.
The term Fitna al-Khawarij is used by the state to refer to terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Citing security sources, state media said that the operation was carried out under the forces’ ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. The sources added that the Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists had made a cowardly attempt to attack a checkpost in the area; however, they were pushed back by security forces.

Taking prompt and effective action, the forces killed two of the terrorists while the rest attempted to flee. However, security forces pursued the fleeing terrorists and killed seven more of them.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists. During the exchange of fire between security personnel and terrorists, one soldier of the security forces was injured and later shifted to hospital, the sources said.
They added that security forces’ operations will continue until the elimination of the last terrorist from Balochistan.

Meanwhile, two more terrorists, belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan, were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation in the Jausak area of Turbat, Balochistan, Radio Pakistan said, citing security sources.

According to the sources, a search, clearance, and sanitization operation is underway in the area to track down the fleeing terrorists.
In the same day, security forces foiled an infiltration attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists to cross into the Kurram sector from Afghanistan, responding promptly to firing by the Afghan Taliban.
The infiltration attempt was reportedly made from Afghan Taliban posts in Nangarhar and Paktia provinces but was effectively thwarted by Pakistani troops deployed along the border.
Following the failure of the attempt, the Afghan Taliban opened unprovoked fire on Pakistani border posts using heavy weapons, mortars and other arms. Security forces responded effectively and targeted several Afghan Taliban border posts, mortar positions and defensive positions with small and heavy weapons, including artillery.
The intense retaliatory action forced Afghan Taliban personnel to abandon several posts and flee.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
The operation was carried out in the Aphan Koh area of Prom Paroom in Panjgur, on intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists belonging to the Fitna al-Hindustan.
Security forces exchanged heavy fire with the terrorists during the operation, resulting in the deaths of four of them. A large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
On September 19, security forces killed 11 terrorists during targeted operations in the Panjgur and Chagai districts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3.
In the Gowargo area of Panjgur, security forces neutralised five terrorists and recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from their possession. Meanwhile, security forces conducted operations in the Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai.
Separately, in an operation conducted during the night of September 18-19, security forces foiled an attempt by terrorists to establish a checkpost for abducting people and snatching vehicles along the Pakistan Highway near Kalat, rescuing 23 abductees and killing five terrorists belonging to the Fitna al-Hindustan.
The operation was conducted when the terrorists attempted to disrupt the movement of people along the Chaman-Karachi N-25 highway near Kalat.

Earlier, on September 17, three terrorists affiliated with the Fitna al-Hindustan were killed by security forces in Balochistan’s Badrang area in the Awaran district. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists.
The operations are being conducted as part of the ongoing Radd-ul-Fitna-3 campaign, which the military’s media wing described as a counterterrorism operation aimed at eliminating Indian proxies.
Terrorism is a growing problem for Pakistan, with the number of attacks rising every year since 2022, according to Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED), a global monitoring organisation. Data from ACLED shows attacks in Pakistan rose nearly fourfold to 2,425 in 2025 from 658 in 2022.
Although Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has borne the brunt of terrorism, Balochistan has also remained a major target of Indian proxies, which often target civilians and military installations in the province.Read More
